there is no heat in our office today. there was no heat yesterday. there will be no heat tomorrow. we have got several space heaters going (we had more going but blew the fuse in the office twice.) so, one half of the building has heat & our half does not. i am currently wearing 3 shirts & a winter hat, but cannot feel my fingers. isn't this breaking some law against providing employees with safe/healthy workplaces or something?

also at work today: our afternoon guy seems to be working out great; however gets flustered easily & smokes on the job which i find not cool. so when he asked me to come cover him for a cigarrette break today, i have yet to go out because i don't think he should be smoking on the property - someone's going to get nailed for that & it won't be me. regularly scheduled breaks = no prob. extra ones so you can get baked are not cool, no. not to mention, that i have a bazillion thing i need to be doing & if i'm doing nothing but cover everyone's breaks they don't get done & i get in trouble. i don't know when the last time i even looked in the filing drawers was.

in other news, i experimented a bit with scents last night; came up with the cherry lavender bath bomb & the sleep well solid body oil (see rss feed on right side) i had come up with an awesome name for my bath bombs the other night while, in fact, climbing into the bathtub, but forgot it in soaking myself silly. rat! i spend every day hoping it will come back to me but it's kind of a vain hope i'm sure.

also will be going to pick up my cell phone which i left at bf's house yesterday but he would not bring it into work for me. did oil my sewing machine though. now maybe i can make some nice pillows? i bought somewhere around 5 lbs of buckwheat hulls to play with, but have been waiting for my poor ancient sewing machine to be up to the task. be well, singer!
